A food collection is taken up the second Sunday of each month. Non-perishable contributions can be made in the boxes placed in front of the sanctuary.
All donations are taken by a volunteer to food pantries and food banks throughout the city.

The Seven Sisters Apostolate is a movement founded in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis with the sole intention of praying for the priests and bishops who lead our church through holy hours. Each group is made up of seven women, with one serving as the Anchoress. Each woman makes a commitment to pray a holy hour on a specific day each week throughout the year so that the priest has a holy hour being offered for him each day.
Currently, there are two active groups at St. John the Baptist - one for each priest. If you would like to volunteer as a sub in case a current Sister needs covered, please contact the parish office.
