New and returning liturgical ministers are invited to attend a training session on Sunday, September 25th @ 11:30am or Tuesday, September 27th at 6:00pm. Meet in the church to be trained in your respective ministry (greeter, lector, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion). Training should take no more than 45 minutes. All Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are REQUIRED to attend a Eucharistic reflection immediately following. Please allow 2 hours in total for training+reflection.

Parenting a child with intellectual or developmental disabilities brings many blessings and some unique challenges. Issues related to sexuality can seem to add more problems and raise important questions. This live, virtual presentation will take place on September 26th from 7:30-9:00pm and was developed exclusively for the parents of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities of all ages, explores how the Catholic Church’s teaching on human sexuality can help families navigate these challenges and others, while also giving them deeper insight into God’s plan for their children. Time during the presentation will also be dedicated to discussion among parents about personal experiences and concerns as well as for asking questions of the presenters. There is a new Mass being offered at the chapel at Parkview Main Hospital at 9pm on Sunday evenings for shift workers who otherwise are not able to attend Sunday Mass. This Mass is open to the public; you do not need to be a hospital employee to attend.
