We could use at least 15 more Greeters to make this ministry truly effective. Greeters play a key role in helping our parish be a welcoming place to regulars and new faces. Greeters must be at their assigned doors 15 minutes before Mass starts and hand out bulletins immediately after Mass. You can sign up to help as little or as much as you wish. Contact the parish office if you're interested in becoming a Greeter!
Art Cislo will lead a class on how to design and paint baptismal candles on Monday, November 15th at 6:30pm in Providence House. This will be an ongoing ministry; please be able to commit to painting a few candles a year for the parish.
Join us for a book study of "The Great Divorce" by C.S. Lewis during the month of remembrance for all the souls in purgatory. Starting on Tuesday, November 4th at 6:30pm in Providence House, a small group will meet to discuss chapters 1-4 of this deeply reflective literary work. They will meet weekly throughout the month of November. Resources for the study will also be made available online if you would like to enter into the study individually or with a small group on your own. You must purchase your own book. Questions? Contact [email protected]!
If you have lost a child before or after birth - whether recently or long ago - please join us for a special Memorial Mass on Friday, October 29, at 5:45pm. Siblings, grandparents, and other family members are also welcome. Sponsored by Marriage and Family Ministry. For more info, contact Caty Burke at 260-422-4611 or [email protected].
Anne Therese Stephens has extra copies of the booklet, "Visits to the Blessed Sacrament", by St. Alphonsus Liguori that she handed out at her Consecration earlier this month. This book was instrumental in transforming Anne Therese's prayer life and she would love to share a copy with you in the hopes it could help you grow closer to Christ in the Eucharist. Please email her at [email protected]
