Our mission statement at St. John the Baptist is, "Making Christ the center of our life." One of the surest ways to do this is by spending time with our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration. As Catholics, we believe that Jesus is truly present - body, blood, soul, and divinity - in the consecrated host. Adoration is the practice of displaying the Eucharist in a monstrance to pray in front of.
Our goal at St. John is to have Adoration available every day of the week. To do this, we need committed adorers who will spend time week in and week out at the time they have committed to. Currently, we have Adoration in Guerin Chapel on Monday through Wednesday from 7am-9pm.
We are always in need of more substitute adorers.
